Our first beer takeover is in full swing, and we couldn’t have picked a better start! This October, we’re proudly showcasing the brilliant brews of Abbeydale Brewery, a Sheffield favourite known for its creativity, consistency, and community spirit.
Founded in 1996, Abbeydale has built a loyal following for its distinctive, characterful beers that perfectly balance traditional brewing with a modern twist. Their cask ales are crafted with care, using the finest ingredients and an unrelenting passion for quality.
We’ve got a cracking line-up on the bar this month, including:
Moonshine (4.3%) – The brewery’s flagship pale ale and a true Sheffield classic. Light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with hints of citrus and grapefruit. An ideal choice if you fancy something smooth and sessionable.
Daily Bread (3.8%) – A traditional bitter that’s full of flavour. Expect notes of toffee and caramel, balanced with a gentle hop bitterness that makes it endlessly drinkable – a proper nod to classic English ale.
Absolution (5.3%) – A strong golden ale with a warming, fruity finish. Sweet and full-bodied, with a gentle spice that lingers beautifully.
Basilisk (4.2%) – A crisp pale ale with a subtle hoppy bite and soft citrus aroma, perfect for those who like something light yet flavourful.
Whether you’re a fan of old favourites or looking to try something new, there’s something for every ale lover in this line-up.
So, pull up a stool, grab a pint, and discover why Abbeydale Brewery has become one of Yorkshire’s most celebrated independent brewers.
🍺 Available throughout October – but be quick, these guest ales won’t be around for long!
